This is a followup to my jersey cooling question.

I saw in Bicycling Magazine's 2009 Style Guide that the Descente Optima Ice Jersey is treated with Xylitol, a natural substance contained in fruit that can absorb heat and block the sun's infrared rays with the goal of lowering your core temperature by five degrees Fahrenheit.

Anybody have any experience with this jersey?

Don't let your dog near it. :)

The whole idea is absurd. You would want a jersey to reflect heat, not absorb it. If it were absorbed, it would have no choice but to increase in temperature. Basic physics.
