So we're in town for the race (wife and adult sons present). We're headed down to White River Park here in a few minutes and will probably go to the zoo before the parade.

What other touristy things would any locals recommend?

For the kids, the children's museum is the best in the country and entertaining for adults as well. Real fun, I went there just for old times sake during NAHBS. I had a good time.

Must see: The speedway museum. It will be better than you ever thought. Even people that are not into cars will appreciate it. There are some historical gems!

Have fun! Tyler.

If you enjoy a good steak, dinner at St. Elmo's Steakhouse is a must.

Bowling. It's the city's second most popular pastime next to wandering.
