I need a 31.6 seatpost for one of my new projects I am starting up. I have been researching many "light" posts and there seems to always be something major wrong with them.

The 3T doric doesnt allow for angle adjustment on the saddle.

The saddle slips from the Ritchye WCS, even when torqued to spec.

What are some lighter seatposts that you have found to work fine for your rides?

Thanks for any ideas you can come up with

AX Lightness in setback or non
KCNC Scandium

Both work great and are very light.

I am using a Ritchey 31.6 WCS carbon on my Colnago and I have not had any problems with it slipping...I also use the Ritchey torque grease stuff...Not sure if that helps, but "it couldnt hurt"...

Just sayin'

the syntace p6 is light (mine is even lighter since tom kellogg cut off an unnecessary portion of the super long shaft), is infinitely adjustable, accommodates setback without looking "bent" and keeps the saddle securely where you want it. i also think it looks great.

albeit a bit pricey, i don't think you can go wrong with the campy record posts. i have the 27.2 post, and also have a 31.6 waiting for colnago ep build once i move. have never had a problem with the posts, just have to be willing to lay out the cash for them.

I am looking at the Carbon Lord Seat Posts and they look pretty sweet. Do you guys actually ride them? Or is it more of "its good because of how cheap they are"

I've got one in 31.6 and one in 27.2 use them both all the time. Probably have 10k mi on the 31.6 ( it's been on 3 different bikes ) never a problem and it looks great.

Mike

Should add I'm talking about the older style carbonlord, silver alloy clamp that looks like a campy seatpost. I have no experience with the newer all carbon post.
