Today, December 30th, Rivendell will be donating its profits to aid the devastation in south and southeast Asia caused by last week's catastrophe. So if anyone has the inclination to make a purchase of their worthy wears, today would be an especially good day on which to make it.
I have heard as well from a friend of mine, a doctor, who is currently working near Chennai (Madras) and things are horrible for those who have lost everything and whose loved ones are missing, unaccounted for, and perhaps already found. There are many worthwhile causes to which we might offer our generosity, of course, but this situation strikes me as particularly important for Americans who have so many blessings.
Well, just thought I would let people know.
