Hi,
Does anyone know what a 40 rake F1 will do to the handling of a 1997 55cm CSI? I have a threaded F1 and would really like to go to threadless, and there happens to be an F1 for sale on ebay that has a 40 rake.
thanks

We didn't make any 40mm F1's to the best of my knowledge..... just 43's.

Here is a trail calculator:

It will allow you to compare new and old set up and the effect of different fork offsets and tire sizes.

The guy probably does not know what he has. I attached a picture from ebay. Maybe I should just stick with the threaded fork. The 26mm handlebar selection is somewhat limited.
thanks for the help

I have these bars on 2 of my bikes and like them very much.

26.0 clamp and anatomic, if you like that shape.

i am thinking about the nitto neat
i am not the most flexible person, and am going with a shallow drop
i am also looking at the ded 215 shallow
the biggest problem is my size and the flex, because i weigh over 225lbs and i tend to flex a lot of my gear
