I know a lot of people on this forum become aroused over steel bikes - not me but I thought I would share...

I saw one in person last month, and it sure is purty.

Looks great. Why can't a stainless steel fork come with it?

interesting. I think I like the look of the frame, but with that fork, groupset and colour scheme (it is a scheme, isn't it?) I think it looks like some kind of misbegotten hybrid.

I have a tough time liking that bike when a custom IF SSR is $1500.00 cheaper than a custom version of the stainless steel Cinelli. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me, given that fact. On top of that, I find that particular bike in the photo to be hideous. For me Cinelli either nails it, or comes up way short in the looks category. Never really in between.

prefer the Cinelli Nuovo Supercorsa built out columnbus spirit tubing. The stainless steel is too expensive and doesn't do anything better than a lower priced tubeset. And the Supercorsa comes in a variety of colors. It's a shame to paint stainless steel.

If it had a matching SS fork (and not a straight one either) and was about 2k cheaper......I would probably still not buy one

Integrated headset? Why????

I realize that it's a full-custom offering, & you can get a traditional head tube or BB if you like. But for that money I'd go with IF (direct, or thru Hampco) or Dario.
