I ordered a few torx bolts for my campy carbon crank and they were out of stock one of the pieces. Didn't find this out till I opened the box. :crap:

So. I have a race this weekend and there is no way that I'm going to get another one before then. Already checked with the local bike shops. Zero. Not even a crank to steal the bolts off.

Will this set up be o.k. for say, 100 miles? The race is 46 miles. The rest will be training rides.

Does any one live in Franklin County MA have one to sell or give to a desperate rider. Donation to your favorite charity.

I had one fall out sometime at the beginning of a 45+ mile race and the creaking drove me crazy. If you are sensitive to noises on your bike, better try to replace it prior to the race.

If the wost happens, go to the race, ask around at sign in... if nobody says they've got any spares to loan you then there's definitely a liar in the crowd [IMHO].

Call around to one of these stores located close to you. They are usually well stocked. Worth a try.
