Tell me which.!!!

IF you say CSI then write a check for $500(deposit) and send to SEROTTA DAVE, when we get 10 orders we will start the process. :) :)

I wanted one of the Heritage Road frames, but they got discontinued before I could move. Will probably end up with a Coppi instead.

Hmm, that's a tough one but I think I would go with CDA, the all steel CDA.

The Serotta Sachs, but only if the wait time is substantially less.

I'd get a Coeur d'Acier built to perfect some of the 'imperfections' of my Colorado III. I am delicate with the word imperfections because this bike was not built for me. It was a custom for someone else and comes very close to being what I would get. But this was built for a race team and is a race bike. I like that very much. It handles very nicely.

I'd love to have the stiffness, ride and handling of this bike in one which had a few tweaks in terms of size and setback.

Otherwise, it's just about perfect. But it could be more perfect.

I'd go with 8cm BB drop instead of 7. I'd go with an F3 fork. I'd have a pump peg. I'd go with a 57 top tube instead of 58. I'd probably go with a slightly shorter seat tube. I'd go with a 72.5º, or even 72º seat angle. All left up to the designer to sort out the details. But those are a few things on my wish list for this bike. I got such an absurdly good deal on it that I have no right to complain. But if I were buying a new Serotta today, it'd be an 'improved' version of this bike.

Welded steel. It's my thing.

CSI with 3D vertical drops in stock 58.

I also like saab2000's ideas, but I need a 57.5-58 TT. Heck, I will volunteer to take his bike if he gets his replacement.

Would that CSi come with a steel fork by any chance?

Interesting that one of the rarest seen on eBay or the Forum anymore is the Rapid Tour (CRT). GREAT bike.

Legend. Probably full Ti.

I would love it in the Sierra Nevada team colors but would most likely go with bare Ti since that would stand the test of time.

Not really picky or sure about fit. 59 X 57.5 maybe. Designed to only have 1 inch of drop and to handle my 250 lbs.

Something along these lines will be my next bike. Unfortunately for me and Ben, it will have to be used.

I would say something a bit unique and suitably affordable - maybe an aluminum Serotta for instance. It would be interesting to to see what Ben could concoct with modern aluminum alloys. But please, no integrated seat post.

CSI or a CDA with a 73.5-74 STA angle and a short top tube 52cm, 8 cm of drop would be cool. Love the BB stiffness of the one i have.

The Coeur d'Acier I've been putting miles on the past few weeks is a mighty impressive piece of work...

Comes as close as anything I've ridden in terms of silky smooth rock-hard stiffness.

That'd be my choice.

I just bought a Fierte IT for my wife for our 25th anniversary!

Her bike will be lighter and spiffier than my Concours, and it will have one more cog in the back. The sad thing is that she probably won't appreciate this nearly as much as I will. In the long run, though, it may allow me to get a new Fierte or HSG carbon or Ottrot I've been lusting after, as soon as she realizes how generous I am, and how much I too am in need of a gear upgrade!

I'd give up some ride qaulity to have a weight weenie steel bike, that would be cool to try as a race rig.

Pete

When you helped organize the Heritage deal this past fall/winter I nabbed a GP Suisse Ti frame, which I'll race this coming cross season. Excellent deal.

At the moment . . . maybe nothing. In addition to the GP Suisse, I have the HSG Ti for road and an older CSi that I've converted to a fixed gear road bike, although it would still make a fine geared road bike.

Which bikes are most interesting to me? In road, I suppose I'd say HSG or HSG custom, then legend, then CDA. Depending on purpose, for road or cross, the Classique frames might be pretty interesting.

But as I said, at the moment, I'm set.

Lets stop all this nonsense about people wanting new CSIs and Serotta building more CSIs. None of you really wants a CSI - just remember that.

By the way I did buy Kelly Bedford's CSI which was the last one made, and I want it to continue to be the last one made!

Take the HSG Carbon and add this feature, add this other feature and tweak (larger) the tubing dims some.

Oh, I almost forgot, one more feature. BB30.

Then you will have a zapanache(tm) frameset that would build up to an awesome bike.

:) has a pretty good idea of what I'm looking for.

Straight seatstays for a guy on a budget with no more than 6degree sloping tt, thank you very much. I think this should be a popular demand but its missing in the lineup, or am i wrong?

Edit: i guess the cda with steelstays kinda fit that description. Hmm i may have to get me one of these.

If I were shopping for something to replace my primary ride, I'd have to take a serious look at the CDA GS. I'd want the steel rear end, so $700 to upgrade the fork wouldn't be worth it (to me). But for the money, that GS looks pretty sweet.

That said, I still don't understand where Serotta is coming from with the SE/GS distinctions when it comes to paint. I can see a modest upcharge for something like candy, pearl, or some fancier metallic paints, but no option for just solid black or white on the GS? That's silly.

According to the Paint Program on this site you can get a CDA GS in Onyx or Simply White. Plus choice of decals.

Once you're all the way in, yes it does. But the initial panel shows 8 colors which also match the GS collection shown on the main CDA page under "paint & finish options". So it really looks like the intent is for GS to be limited to these 8.

Now, I also understand that Pete can help grease the skids here - I think that's a wonderful service & benefit for Serotta. But I also think that in this case it should not be necessary for him to do so.

a relatively "cheap" (alu?) tri frame, along the lines of the singolo/heritage line based on Dan Empfield's tri geometries (http://www.slowtwitch.com/mainheadings/techctr/07geometries.html) .

Aero tubing or not, I think the CXII is a bit pricey for the abuse the frame will have to endure vs. a roadie's life. Don't get me wrong, I love my CIII and hope I will love the CXII I picked up used, but I can focus purely on racing with my 500$ cervelo whereas I may hesitate to ride the CXII in the rain, or packing it in a bike box etc.

Many a good idea and I will talk to BEN over the next few weeks..

We want your business (new and return) and anything your dealer, the team, or I can do to win it is our objective. That is why I say if a color or something else can be modified I will try to make it happen,

Some mentioned SINGOLO and those were all STOCK and pre painted - so there was not much latitude on different colors. In regard to CDA that is custom to the buyer and I have a better chance, along with your dealer, in convincing the team that "one exception" is a "favor" we need (yes I have been known to offer beer and wine as a deal breaker.....)
