Is it possible to change a DT 240 freehub from Campy to Shimano? If so what does it entail?

Yes indeed...DT-Swiss Freehubs/Freehub Conversion Kits (http://www.bikeparts360.com/products/dt-swiss-freehubsfreehub-conversion-kits/) and here's DT Swiss's website (http://www.dtswiss.com/Products/Accessories-(1)/Hub-Conversion-Kits.aspx) for their hub conversion kits.

Thanks Keith,
I messed around at their website but missed this.

i've swapped plenty of hubs from campy to shimano and vice versa. the dt swap is as easy as it gets.

just the body...no axle swap, no redish, easy as pie.

just the body...no axle swap, no redish, easy as pie.Which is as I understand, this is one of the minor disadvantages of this hubset compared to an Shimano hub since the Shimano hub builds a wheel that has slightly less dish.

or an advantage if you want to share wheels between different drivetrains...

There's a little $15 endcap for the axle that also has to be replaced. When you get the freehub you get a 12-tooth lockring when you are buying a Campy one; if you want an 11-tooth lockring you have to buy it separately.

The actual replacement is trivial.

And don't expect 190s to work the same. They aren't interchangeable in the same way. There's a 10-speed only (Shimano 7800) and a 9/10-speed version.
