The video is well worth seeing.

She looks so frumpy and dumpy. When she said she wanted to be compared to a legendary British singer you could see people in the audience sneering, shaking their heads. Risable. Ludicrous. She must be mad.

And then she opens her mouth and begins to sing, and the head judge's eyes SNAP open wide. Jaws drop. She sings like an angel.

She finishes, and simply turns and starts walking off the stage.

She has an amazing voice. Someone at work mentioned that her story/performance on BGT is similar to Paul Potts' back in 2007:

It is inspiring to see such hidden talent revealed like that.
