Best way to clean white Fizik bar tape, please

Hi all,

Pulled down my Time VXR to clean it up, change out to a compact crankset and ride it for awhile and noticed that the white Fizik bar tape is not looking so "white" anymore.

My understanding is that the Fizik tape is known for cleaning up easily. Is this true? If so, what should I use/do to clean it up?

Wouldn't you worry about simple green getting under the tape and corroding aluminum parts on your levers?

A little Soft n Scrub w/ Bleach on a wet sponge

I thought if you used white bar tape, you just replaced it more often.

Wipe on and wipe off, don't douse the tape with simple green or any other cleaning agent.

I've always used that hand cleaner/grease removal stuff you can buy in a little tub at the grocery store.

Normal degreaser makes it look white again.

They work great on ti bikes, too.

any degreaser but the secret is to use baby wipes.

Dawn detergent and ammonia, use toothbrush. Done.
