serotta unknown model

My dad just gave me one of his old serotta's becouse it is too big for him. The bike does not say what model it is. I do have the VIN and was hoping some one could help me out with that. The vin is 83639. I do have pics but when I tried to add it said file was to big. I can e-mail pics.

It would also help to know what it is made out of? Steel, Ti or Aluminum

yes reduce and post....based on what you say I would think it has a steel fork and steel frame. We do not have an electronic record of serial #s past about 8 years.
