I guess that I will run right out and buy my Hincapie Jeans at Competitive Cyclist. They are available.

I saw those on the Hincapie site. They seem a little overpriced and fugly, atmo.

I find it hard to spend more than $30 for jeans anyway so $145 is quite unlikely.

Marketing at its finest. Weren't jeans originally sold because they were cheap and durable clothing?

How much would the jeans be if Hincapie had won the Paris Roubaix?

$12.99 at Costco. They fit and wear very well.

Yes, indeed, and these folks at 7 have done a fine job of marketing their product and finding a niche. Out of almost 70 products in their men's denim line, not a single one under $155.

I'm a 501 guy myself.

You'd be quite stylish sauntering around in your Hincapie jeans here:

I like George's cycling attire, though. Try www.classiccycling.com for some good deals on leftover Hincapie stock.

I hate to say it, but the Levis vintage line of raw denim is totally worth it. tough as nails and made to last a lifetime, like Levis were a hundred years ago. I'd never spend $150 on a pair of that prewashed garbage, though.

Well, to be fair, I doubt this venture is aimed at you guys.

Even though Cc sells them.

Take a look at how many jeans stores are around in foo-foo malls selling jeans for $200 or $300 and up - per pair.

And believe me, they sell.

I don't think we are the market.

This would have been better if he came out with them 4 years ago, his timing stinks, but I still wish the best for George and his Jeans.

APC New Cures are my weakness.

I have done my part to fatten Michael Ball's wallet. And god damn, those jeans are awesome.

Not feeling Hincapie's.
