I've been running Vittoria Corsa Extra's on several of my bikes and love the ride...BUT, the yellow gets pretty S#!TT^ looking pretty fast....does anyone make a tire that is more of a "sidewall in yellow"...I've also used some Mich. Pro's that were a little better but it seems to me that I have seen SOMEWHERE a tire that had more of a yellow line or stripe on the side and not where it was actually part of the footprint of the tire.....anyone out there help me out?

Michelin Krylion Carbon?

Not quite the ride of Pro's 3 etc, but a mighty fine tire.

Or where you looking for a yellow sidewall?

I thought these were pretty cool, a lot of color combos available including yellow.

Aren't Hutchinson tyres pretty poor? I had a pair that were like glass velcro.

On a different note, I just saw this listing and your question resonated

....but I KNOW I've seen a yellow-line tire someplace! Very fine yellow line, not a complete sidewall in yellow....but these Pro3's are the best I've found so far, just thinking ahead.

Picky Picky !!!

I know what you mean. I got some of the orange tires to go with my orange R33. Turns out that it's just too much orange (unless you're BBD). I'll have to use them on my "it doesn't matter what color tires or bar tape I put on it" bike because they just won't work with anything else.

Yes, you're probably thinking of the old Michelin Axial Carbon, which was replaced by the Krylion.

Well I'm not sure if this is the one I saw but it IS exactly like what I'd like to find! These are going on my single-speed that I ride around the neighborhood and on slowish training rides so ride-quality isn't quite so important to me....man, I REALLY like these!....how long have they been out of production and does anyone know of a NOS source?....or similiar alternative?

You mean, like this? These are the choices in the Michelin Krylion Carbon, which replaced the Axial Carbon two or three years ago.

Thanks, I think these will work....didn't Bontrager or Specialized also make something along these lines?

I'd say the Krylions would be the way to go...
