I'm going to be spending Mon-Thurs in Fort Worth for at least the next 6mo and would like to find some nice local loops so I can keep up the mileage during the week.

Only catch is that we usally work 8am-8/9pm, so evening group rides are out. I'm hoping someone local can forward some local ride maps or clue me in to areas to avoid riding. I'll likely be heading out at sunrise or shortly before, so traffic shouldn't be much of an issue. A nice 20-30mi loop with options would be perfect.

I'm staying downtown at the Worthington and plan on riding from my hotel.

Bonus points if you have a 61/62cm bike you want to "rent" me for a few months :D

Any input would be greatly appreciated.....and no, unfortunately I can't change my hotel location to be close to better riding.

I have often been tempted to go over and ride with these folks....they are part of the three-club set up that plans Easter Hill Country each year and the folks from FW that I have ridden with down there have always been super! There are links to several of their ride-maps and there may be one there that will suit you perfectly. I really can't give you much information other than this but I do know that there are 3-4 other clubs in the area as well as a couple of well-respected shops.

There is a fairly long bike only trail that follows the Trinity River. At least it was Bike only when I rode it, but that was several years ago.
