I have worn out yet another pair of bibs. My jersey is faded and looking lame. Its time. My last three bibs were Assos. Feel good but they tend to wear faster then I like and they cost a bit much. I'm looking at the http://www.bikyle.com/GiordanaClothes.asp Forma Red bibs and jersey. Despite the BS marketing has anyone tried these and are the comparable to Assos? Any other suggestions for a high performance bib that wears well?

I actually like the Tenax bibs better than the Forma line. They can be had for around $100 if you search around.Fit is of course a personal thing with bibs.

I really like the Garneau bibs with the "holely" chamois.

Hincapie. Their top-line short is under $250. I have tried two different models and both are comfortable.

Whatever you get, make it pink. Pink is the new black.

Boure, you won't be disappointed....but if you are, they'll return/refund with no questions asked.

I second Boure, they are a great place to purchase from.

I'll be third up on Boure, I haven't tried their bibs but the shorts and shirts I've purchase from them are my favorites.

Only shorts/knickers I've used for the past 6 years.

I'll throw in a vote for Santini bibs with the gel insert. But with the caveat that I've not tried any Giordana clothes.
