I guess if there was even the slightest doubt who's the best sprinter in the world, that's over.

I'm so happy for Cav. Should lay rest to some of the critics, eh!?!

And it's good to have Hincapie's wheel when the going gets tough!

Totally! He is nothing without his lead out men. He always sings their praises.

I don't know about nothing. He proved today that he can improvise. That was a very large gap to close and by no means a textbook lead out. If anything the leadout was a little slow, allowing Haussler to make his move. Great finish!

Hincapie was crucial in his making the final selection, but the move onto Haussler's wheel was all Cavendish (and worthy of Robbie). That dude is fast.

That sharp tack to the left to stay on Haussler's wheel and then pip him was classic. This was no Cipo led-out sprint; this was pure handling, improv, split-second gutsmanship.

The more and more I see of that little sh*t, the more I like him. He's McE without the rough edges.

Has Lance finished yet?

For sure, not saying that Cav doesn't need help. Today his teammates got him into good position, but the finish was all him - instinct, desire and of course wicked speed.
