Yes our young professor is turning ..get this freaking 34 and its no wonder he can beat us all in a sprint . Yes I say lets have a DASH for the Kreme in his honor. He turns this near milestone on the 20 th so I am thinking of riding with my BUDDY on Sunday ( 19 th ) weather permitting . So if interested lets get on an e-mail routing so we can get the Professor and the gang hooked up.

this won't be a fast, nor will it be a long ride something about 34 miles will do and we can take turns telling Fly his stem is too short . Come on all you DC metro area riders , Where is Korn Julio , OldMill , and the rest anyway ?

FIXEE's are welcome too

I’m afraid I will have to pass, since I am a long drive away and anyway, flydhest always gets sick when I offer to ride with him, so I wouldn’t want to give him the Bumble Bee Flu so close to Christmas! ;)

Perhaps I will be the silent presence in the form of a stealthy, beautiful black CSi? Have a great time! Best to the Professor! Thirty-four? Dang. Young _and_ smart.

enjoy!

Douglas, you forgot gooooooood looking.

Alas, I don't think I'll have that beauty build up yet. :( I am, however, already working on convincing myself that if any bike was worth putting on hyper-expensive dugasts, this is it.

Come one, come all. We'll do shots of aqvavit at the end of the ride.

I would. But, then again, I might anyway.

How slow is fly? He is so slow that he takes an hour and a half to watch 60 Minutes.

Unfortunatly, I'll be in NC for the weekend visiting my son who can't make it home for Xmas. (unfortunatly, cause I'll miss the ride, not unfortunate that I get to spend the W/e with my son)

What is this about a new CSI?? Is that your birthday present. Come on down to Raleigh and we will bake you a cake. (I have the wine)

Flydhest,
I would like to try to make it – what time do you plan to start?
I wonder if it will be as cold as last year?

You know Jason, you should watch what you wish for. Unfortunately I will be missing both Flydhest and Jason's birthday rides this year. :(
I'm sure you can have fun without me.

OK, for anybody still interested, we can ride at 8:30 from my house. It will be a 25 mile ride through the Park. I'll likely be on my fixie, so no worries about the pace. I'll see if I can induce the lovely Doctor to bake some scones for munching on afterward, and I'll roast some coffee this evening so that there will be espresso and cappucino all around.

pm me if you don't know where I live.
