View Full Version : Proper torque for Campy seatpost clamp?

I can't seem to find this in the archives or elsewhere on the Internetz....what the heck is the correct torque for tightening Campy's seatpost clamp? (I mean the black, offset one, not the old school bolt.) The post is aluminum and the frame is ti.

You'll be fine if you don't exceed 7-9Nm. I always have to ask those who torque a seatpost clamp bolt, what they do when they make an adjustment out on the road? I've never torqued one of these bolts yet and I have all carbon frames with carbon seatposts. I use a short handled hex wrench on the road or a 4-5-6 Y-style wrench at home. Just don't get carried away.
