Dear Forumites,

As part of the bike-of-the-month-club, I'm getting a Pegoretti Palosanto tomorrow. It's "Yellow Nails" with red decals. I'm going to put red Elite Ciussi cages on it, because I already have them.

Here's the question: bar tape and housing?

I have red housing and can get red tape.
I have black housing and can get black tape.

Edit: The seat is a black Regal.

Thoughts?

go with either housing and Cinelli "Rasta" tape. - Matt

Black housing, colored housing is worse than black socks. Red tape to match the red letters. But the rasta would look good too.

Wrap your cable housings with lanyard cord like I did for the Queen Bee. Red & yellow, maybe? Yeeow! "eek"

Red housing, plain red tape, and round it off with a red Regal saddle (from Mr Sachs). That would serve nicely to my eye.

The Palosanto is a clean, simple design, a great ride. My bestlocalpal rides one to death (it being his only bike) and has had wonderful luck and great experiences. Good luck! Enjoy!
