I will do it if I have to....

But I figure since almost everything else on the bike is new, why not get new thingies....

Lower end Campy cable stops are black resin.

If you are feeling really industrious, get a hold of a home powder coat kit and do some up yourself. You do it in your oven.

You mean like these? They're Shimano but I honestly don't know what model they are; my local shop has tons lying around so they just gave them to me.

As usual, the Campy ones look more elegant... :D

+1 on the low-end campy. they look just like the alloy ones, except black.

i've got several i'd be happy to donate, if for some reason you don't want the RS signature editions...

I'm opting for the RS ones.............

It's the only RS thing I'll ever be able to afford.

Not to hijack, but who makes/sells nice metal adjusters? I'm looking to replace some cheap-looking plastic ones.

Sorry, I was thinking more along the lines of the adjusters shown on DK's bikes (see #33 for example):

I suppose I could ask Dave himself or one of the other builders...doh!

Dave sells these directly, see his accessories page. A steal at eight bucks a pair. Beautiful stuff too.

Thanks, I've been looking where to find a pair. Have some in an old Legend, and was going to ask Serotta where they got them.
