And Obama is doing absolutely nothing about the squirrel menace. Do you know why? They supported him in his presidential campaign!

William,

It may make you feel better to know that my black cat, Buster for the fist time in 8 years has taken to hunting squirrels. Buster is a champion hunter. Our back acre is literally a 'killing field'. Bidrs on the side yard, moles on the porch, chipmunks in the driveway... and in spring the occasional bunny for breakfast.

Just this morning he killed his third squirrel in as many weeks. I tried to snap a pic to post here, but he proudly trotted off with his trophy before I could reach the camera. Not sure what turned him... he and the squirrels used to hang out together on the back porch. The squirrels would snack at the bird feeder with Buster just feet away. He couldn't seem less interested in them, and they could not have seemed less afraid of him.

The tide has shifted my friend... the squirrels days are numbered!

Cheers,

KP

Well fwiw, I am convinced Buster thinks he's a dog... What with the panting, growling and drooling, we sometimes think so too!

Our house is being attacked by flying squirrels. They fly in at night...eat the birdseed and then (apparently) leave the scene. They are about the size of chipmunks (who never bother anyone) and can probably sneak in through tight places. We have already dealt with regular size squirrels who snuk in through the attic fan and ate hundreds of holes in the ceiling. If these micro squirrels start causing trouble, i will do something (not sure what)...but they will regret it.
