Salt Lake City bike shops to rent bike(s)?

I'm going to be spending a week in early May in Salt Lake City (actually just north in Kayesville) and instead of bothering to pack and ship a bike was thinking about just renting bikes (probably mountain or hybrid) to take a few short rides in the area with my wife and sister in law. Can't see taking the risk of shipping my beloved Hors out there and letting UPS take it's best shots and I don't travel enough to justify buying a hard case. Any suggestions as to good shops (maybe on the north end of town) that rent? What's the riding weather like there in early May anyway? Comparable to upstate NY?
