Repaint of SEROTTA Mevici?

I just purchased a used Serotta Mevici, I really like the finish (clear blue tint w/ silver decals)...but I'm amazed with some of options on their paint program.

Could I have it repainted by Serotta?

Yes.

However, last time it was discussed here many felt that the price from the factory for repaint was rather high.

I don't know that you will find a price on their website. Contact an authorized dealer (or maybe Serotta_Pete) to determine how much it would cost.

Not sure how accurate this is but it's a start.

The intricate paint schemes (level 3) would be over $1ooo depending on colors and design.


The blue tint is one of my favorites...Bruce K has one like that.

Why paint a used Meivici? Is there something wrong with the paint finish, or is it just aesthetics?

I love it how it at right now...but in the future I wanted to know if that was an option.
