It was f'ing great. The cellar was getting old. I could have been out earlier this winter but no time... I have become one of those people I scorn, that let the rest of their existence get in the way of their life... yesterday was the first day I start to break my shackles.

It was colder than I thought. There was ice in my water bottle. I got paged about an hour from the house so it was zone 5 all the way home, but that was good too. It was all good.

Rode outside today as well. 31 miles in 22 degree temps here in Cleveland with a 25mph steady north wind. Great fun.... :crap:

I also rode outside yesterday. The sun pulled me out even though it wasn't very warm. I did an easy ride from home to a local park (The Crossings) and did a couple of loops there. Not fast and just 11 miles, but it still felt great to be out. :)

March came in like a lion... max temp here 16 degrees today with a 15-20 mph North wind; wind chills below zero.

Rollers in the (South facing, thank G*d!) garage were the best I could do.

22 degrees but sunny skies and low wind.
It was tolerable with three layers.
Did just 15.5 miles at 17.5 MPH then ran 2 miles at 7 per.

77 degrees today with a light northern wind. Pretty much a perfect day to be outside riding your bike. 45 miles and a head full of snot made for a easier than normal ride day. Can't wait to be able to use 2 air openings instead of one.

Me too.
Did about 22 miles on the Legend
It was cold but at least it was windy.

Now we're in for a snow storm, dammit.

Back to the freakin' "trainer"

I find that riding when I am stuffed is the only time I can breathe!

Ha, I'm going for a ride outside today.

So far it only looks like about 4" of snow, which means I'm taking out the mountain bike and heading for the golf course.

as opposed to today in Cleveland: 13, winds NNE at 20. and we wonder why the political threads have so much pent-up tension?

Temperature 11 with windchill minus 3 this morning...45 minute commuting on bike. The new e-Richie cross team jacket rocks, TOASTY!

Yeah, normally I like a good snowstorm but if we just get an inch or two here it'll melt a little faster at the end of this week and I can get out when I'm not failing over Unix servers to see what the little toy systems will do.

I didn't see any Unix servers out there...
