probikekit has Ti skewers for, $22 free shipping. i got 2 sets. they come in anodized colors. What a deal.......

If you are going to use Record/Chorus then try the American Classic. Found that they work best of all the skewers I've tried over the years and have not had one fail. Not being a weight weenie, I use the CroMoly rather than the Ti. Glory Cycles used to have good prices on them. Use them in everything, including Protons and the newer Vento wheels.
