Hello,

I am living in Germany and this is my first thread here. On a local "bike flea market" I bought this frame including a engraved cinelli stem, stronglight head set, Flite and dura ace seat post. Price was 20 €....Happy day

Somebody knows from which year is this frame?
It looks very similar to this bike:

Frame has some marks and I am not sure if I should repaint it or not? I really like the color scheme of JeffreyG's Bike (white/red)

The Colorado LT was from the late 80s to early 90s vintage. It's shown in my 1992 Serotta catalog and appears to be Serotta's next to the top-of-the-line frameset using Tange Prestige tubing.

If you can post the serial number (found underneath on the bottom bracket shell) I may be able to tell you what the geometry and dimensions are. Nice find by the way!

The tubing is out of Columbus Tubi Esterni Rinforzati Colorado, the frame number I will check.

My 92 Colorado Lt has a black tubing decal. It clearly says Tange on it.

Very nice frame. It is Tange tubing and offers a very nice ride.

Thank you for all your answers.
I took a while but now I checked the frame number. It is:

TC56
01664

I the meantime I have build up the bike with Campa Chorus '97 and Campa Vento Wheels. I changed the graved Serotta stem to a Look Titanium stem, because I had no steerer with 26,4 mm (Cinelli).
I decided to repaint sometime in the future, it is definitely worth it, but first I want to try it. The photos I made tonight are not that good...

You probably know it better, but why should it out of Tange tubing when the sticker says Columbus Colorado?

According to the Serotta catalogs I have, your bike has Serotta's 'Standard Road Geometry' and lists your bike as:
Size: 56CM
Top tube: 55CM
Head angle: 73.5*
Seat angle: 73*
chainstay: 41.5CM
Rake: 4.3
Drop: 7.0CM
Stand over HT 81.8CM

You probably know it better, but why should it out of Tange tubing when the sticker says Columbus Colorado?

In the Serotta catalogs I have, the tubing listed for the TG is Tange Prestige, however Serotta could have changed their spec for the tubing to Columbus during the years they made this bike. In any case, it's a damn fine bike regardless of tubing used.

Terrific find! I have a Colorado tG (also late 80's) and it's my favorite ride.

You'll love it!
