I've seen other threads about this but would appreciate being sure I'm doing the right thing. I have an ancient can of Never Seez that says it contains aluminum powder, copper powder, zinc oxide and graphite (it's amazing how long a 4 oz can lasts!). OK to use this on the threads on my Ti bike? Should I add teflon tape as some have suggested?
I'm putting in a Phil Wood BB. I have a choice on hand of either aluminum alloy or stainless steel cups. Which is a better choice in terms of avoiding seized parts down the road?
Thanks very much in advance!

You should use the PW-supplied anti-seize goop. We called them about this same issue when installing a PW BB in my Spectrum. They feel it successfully provides an anti-seize threadlock compound as well as corrosion prevention.
No teflon tape. It can cause some serious problems. If PW says their anti-seize alone is right, I'll go with that.

That's a no brain-er .... Stainless Steel cups ....
One can always apply pressure to SS and not worry about stripping.
My LBS just pulled my Phil BB on my Legend TI after 4 + years.
Came off with just a little effort. Cleaned up BB + crank and reinstalled.
Phil's last forever. My LBS guru is not a fan of Al BB cups.
Use the Cooper Anti Seize compound. Don't take any chances.
That is use Anti Seize specifically made for Ti. ;)

Originally my LBS guru used teflon tape. BB came off bike with not much
difficulty.
As per your advice, he called Phil Wood and this time did not use the
telfon tape.
Thanks for the heads up !!!! ;) :p :D
