My Concours has arrived this morning. I note that the seller had it listed as a 53 cm and the serial number is CCT 52 770, so it's a 52. Can anyone tell me what year this frame is from the serial number?
Also, what company made the F1 fork?
Thanks!

F1 is a Serotta Product ...
I believe it was made by a local guy ... local to Serotta.
The F1 is a beast of a fork !

Concours and the F1.
Doesn't get much better than that.®

Congrats on acquiring a great bike. The F1 is a durable CF fork. Steel steerer, and Ti drop outs. I think it is safe to say that it was overbuilt...if there is such a thing.

I would measure the frame to see what's up. Since the serial number starts with an extra "C", that says it was a custom frame.
No idea on the age.
Cheers!

Serotta_Steve graciously replied that it's a 2000. I think the custom bit is the head tube, which is 14 cm instead of the stock 11.5 cm. Perfect for old creaky me!

Does it take a 1 inch steerer?

Yes on the one inch steerer on that F1 fork

Mine also has head tube that accepts a 1" steerer. Its serial# is CT54 914. The lack of another "C" indicates a stock 54. I do not think your 14 cm head tube is the custom feature on your frame, since mine also has a similarly long HT. BTW, mine was built in 2001, according to the guy who sold it to me. It is a sweet ride.
