Am new to integrated headsets. Will pretty much any fork work (Alpha Q, etc.) or does one need a fork designed to work specifically with an integrated headset? Thanks.

The crown race area is not different, unless your frame has one of those oversize lower bearing (1-1/4 or 1-1/2 inch). The shape of the fork at the crown will be different on forks intended for integrated headsets.

LOOK forks with a 1-1/8 inch steerer, like the HSC5 have a built in crown race that only fits an IS standard headset.

If u have a headtube for integrated fork it can look goofy with a regular one

a thread on bikeforums is what made me get my first TI (the tuscany) so i remembered these photos as if i saw them yesterday.
