BIKE SEAT KNIFE:
This "Bike Seat Dagger" was discovered by an officer
on the New Haven, Connecticut PD after a
suspected gangbanger abandoned his bicycle and fled
during a street stop. The "dagger" consists of a 10-inch piece of solid steel,
machined down to a spear-like point and then welded to
the end of the bicycle seat post. It is easily concealed
when the seat post is clamped in place in the bike's
vertical seat-post tube.

I'm sure he'll be able to find somebody to testify in court that it's a tire lever.

Unless he was riding tubulars - but how likely is that?

I heard that the New Haven PD tried to sell the bike on ebay. There were no bids first time around so they slashed the price.

:crap:

William

Looks like a good idea, but there's only so much you can do with a long steel point. When they come out with the seatpost/sawzall, then you'll have something!
