What is the cost of the Edge road forks? I've been looking around on the web and have not found the price. Just curious, right now.
Second, if one is consdering a racer type bike, with mid profile carbon rims (e.g. Edge 1.38), is there a rule of thumb as to what colors look best with the black carbon rims? I'm normally a silver component/rim sort of guy, so this is a leap out my style box.
Thanks for any info or opinions.

Silver looks good with Edge rims.

I would go to the manufacturer's web site and see what they show. Unless they have particularly bad taste, they should choose the best combinations.
It also depends of the frame color. What do you have?

In my opinion, nearly anything looks good with carbon rims. I look at Jack Brunk's variety of frames, and to me everything looks good with the Lightweights he puts on them. My dad used to say that every car looked better with a great looking set of wheels. :)

Thanks for the info. I did a google search and perused Edge's site without finding the prices.
Don't have a frame for the wheels yet. It's all being dreamed about in my mind right now. I just can't decide what color to dream about.

Funny anecdote for you. I once bid on a bike frame on ebay only to lose out to a guy who screen name was purpleforane. Weird coincidence.

Purple is Forane,
The last time my cat had a tooth extracted I seem to remember seeing Forane on the list as the anesthesiant. :)

What is the difference between the 1.0 version & 2.0 version?
Thanks!

Dave,
Clever. That one took me a second to get, but I'm more of a Post-punk type.
The 1.0 weighs less than the 2.0. As usual, it's expensive to lose weight. Although, if you look at the price of a gastric bypass, it might be cheaper to lose it off the bike. :)
