At tinypic I choose 640 x 480.

The Forum limits are photos 800 pixels in the largest dimension, and no larger than 145K file size.

I use Photoshop Elements to manipulate photos, which works very well.

Tinypic looks to be less pricey, though. :D

FWIW, I used to find reducing pictures just the right amount to be a bit of a pain. Then someone pointed me to using a photo hosting site like Photobucket or others. You can put your photo up there in whatever resolution and then link to it via an image code in your message and it will show up here, even though the photo is not literally on the Serotta board.

Its a lot easier and you don't have to shrink the photos down. And it doesn't use Serotta's memory resources, for whatever that's worth.
