ANyone else catch this story in the NY Times on Wednesday? I would love to try a slice but I can't eat a 4 pound log of it!

four or five slices of really thick bacon per month or two or three, that's about all I'll eat. more is a deathwish atmo.

used to eat it every day (when I was heavier and unhealthier)

I'd eat it every day if I didn't have such a guilty conscience afterward. My brother even emailed me that exact link the other day. He's making it for a superbowl party

Get ready for this: Are you familiar with your typical cinnamon bun? Well, how about replacing the cinnamon filling with 1 1/2 pounds of bacon, Granny Smith apples sauteed in bacon grease, the baked buns are then brushed with bacon grease, and topped with slivered almonds and a glaze made with cream cheese, confectioner's sugar and, you guessed it, more bacon grease!
