Looking to add to my trainer video collection. Have some Tour and Giro sets from 2001 to 2006, plus Road to Hell (Jurgen Leth), Road to Paris, and some Merckx vids. Any classics worth having - Roubaix, Flanders, Liege,...? Earlier Tours? Others?

Thanks.

I really enjoyed 'Overcoming'.

And, of course, American Flyers!!

I just watched "La Course en Tete" the other night. By modern standards, it is crude. However, the footage is really cool and fun to watch. For some reason, you get a sense of how fast they are going, which is something that I find missing from more modern productions.

Sunday in Hell if you don't own it already. Stars and Watercarriers and the Impossible Hour.

for something a little different, try the "kranked" series of mtb vids. high energy music, fast cutting and lots of good rider p.o.v footage

Road to Roubaix will keep you motivated.

A little slower paced though... sounds like the opposite of the 'kranked' videos

A buddy played a homemade video of some Olympic cross country ski races for me a few years ago. They were really amazing and exciting. Anyone know if these are available commercially?

So no recent Classics videos worth having? Indurain-era Tours? I'm tempted by recent Roubaix and Flanders dvds, but not really sure which ones are good.

At the risk of hi-jacking the thread, does anyone know if the CBS (I think) Tour and Paris-Roubaix TV coverage from the 80's (with John Tesch doin the hyperbolic commentary as well as the soundtrack) is available anywhere?
