My new rain bike build is going to be based around a SRAM drivetrain, but I'm hoping to make use of a couple 10sp Shimano cassettes I have lying around.

Does anyone know for sure one way or the other if a shimano cassette will play nice with the SRAM derailleurs/shifters?

Thanks in advance!

Yes, it works. It's always ideal to avoid mixing, but it will be just fine. If you already have the cassettes just wear them out. Buy SRAM when the time comes to replace them.

That's what I thought. Thanks to both of you for confirming!
