I need to get some new tandem cranks and am hoping for something 180 (or 185 would be great) with a black finish. Anyone know of anything?

daVinci designs. The last 2 sets I got from them needed the pedal threads chased, but otherwise they are very nice cranks.

Sram Rival. It's hard to find the silver ones, black ones are all over e-bay in 180

I didn't realize Sram made tandem cranks.

Remember to shake the can for at least two minutes after letting the can sit in a tub of hot water for at least ten.

No orange peal this way.

Never seen any Sram tandem cranks myself - and I sell tandems. For captain cranks you need only reverse the pedal threads. I did this on my Dura-Ace 9-speed set-up by milling out the threads and using steel insert threads which are available from a number of places.

Good to see someone else is paying attention to details on their tandem. I'm always amazed at how much people can spend on a tandem and it's OK for the fit to be off in all kinds of ways.
