I am looking for an OS 46 c-c handlebar and the only one I know of is the Salsa. Are there others? Hopefully in silver?

This isn't THAT wide - why doesn't Deda make that beautiful dark grey one in bigger sizes?

Thanks for your replies.

Bontrager makes 46 c-c but it's black.

I thought not. I have a Nitto B176 in 46cm for another bike, but it is a 26.0mm clamp diametre...

Would be interested if they are OS, however!

The Trek online store has Bontrager OS bars in silver.

Soma fabrications

I have a pair of the 456 Track bars on my fixie. Similar to the classic Cinelli shape and available up to 48 cm.

richey stopped making the 46cm bars in 2008 or at least they no longer show them as a size option per their website. the 2007 and prior sometimes show up on ebay.

Kestrel ems pro comes in 46 c-c.

Great bar at a great price too.

Silver is optional - I am not bothered by the colour now. No carbon, however.

I am sure this is mostly driven by the fact that I have limited selection for a new bar because of the size (plus the crack about being a bull in a china shop) but I wonder whether I should try 44cm bars?

I used to use them, then tried 46cm and I really like them, though my size suggests a 44cm would be more suitable (I am big, big not a burly muscleman). I now have three bikes with a 46cm bar. I do not race, so comfort is more important than manoeuverability (sp?) in 'race' situations.

Friends who ride the same size bike as me try my bikes out and say the handlebar is crazy wide. I think I am being insecure, and should stick with the 46cm, but it's hard to find a classic bend in this size. Bontrager is the only one that I have found so far. I wish that Ritchey made one.

If you like the 46 and you can find em, sitck with em. No reason to make you bike feel right to someone else.

Hey darren,
You know there is a width limit on Swiss roads? Any more than that and you'll need a vignette.
