TomP bought some levers from me and it's taken a week longer than I wanted, but they are now ready for Santa's sleigh. These are Centaur ten speed ergo alloy, intended for use on my DeSalvo (which is nearly ready).
Since the goal for the DeSalvo was a composition of Record alloy, exception of the Chorus levers, the thought was to sand, polish and buff off the Centaur logo. When palescotsman read my Christmas Wish List and sold me his Chorus levers, my project landed on TomP's bikemo.
TomP, these will be to you soon, leave me some cookies and carrots for the reindeer. I am an imperfect, perfectionist and could not send them to you until I was finished. From six different grits of sandpaper, up to 2K wet-sanding, then high speed rotary polishing, they're ready. I'd put them on the DeSalvo without hesitation and Jack Brunk was begging for these as they've shed 2 grams throughout the sanding process.
At Christmas, we get what we deserve. It's true:
