This is the one I got in a week or so ago. It is bigger than I expected (57cm c-t with a 55.5cm top tube) and came with some scratches and chips, but the seller was great about the transaction.

I love the pic resizing program Dave Thompson mentioned in his post:

Nice one Frank. Now the real question is will you ride it or not?

Yeah Frank, are ya going to build it up?

BTW, what is the serial number? I'd be curious to see how this compares to my 57cm Waterford Paramount.

Dave and Keith, probably won't build it up as it is bigger than I expected but I am going to build up one of the Colnagos. The hard part there is deciding which one...

Keith, serial number is 5700 WA 89033

Frank, you owe me for the Mihov resizer program!

Makes it easy to resize pics or change their format so they can be posted on sites where the size of the submitted pic is limited...and it is free!

If you can resize that frame down to a 54 square, I'll take it.

Oh, and Frank, what size are the Colnagos?

I would imagine that you have already looked into what the serial number indicates, but if not here goes. The serial number is most likely 570D WA 89033.
570 - size of frame c-t
D - length of fork with E being the longest
W - made in Waterford factory
A - month frame was built (A = January)
89 - The year, so this was actually built in 1989 even though the 50th anniversary edition was in '88
033 - The 33rd frame prouced that month

Ours are pretty close relatives. My white one was built in August 1989 and it is also a 57cm c-t. My other Paramount is a 55cm c-t, but in November 1889.

I'd be interested in getting the details on the Colnagos as well.

The blue/yellow Super and pink/white Superissimo are 55 c-t, the mint and pink Conic SLX is 56 c-t. They are not for sale. I have a couple more coming in for friends who saw them and wanted one for themselves.

I bought them new old stock from a fellow named Dominik Sele, who is located in Liechtenstein. He was great to work with and the bikes were indeed just as represented and came well packed and protected. In fact, he sent two in one box to save me on shipping charges.

His website, albeit not real fancy, is:

His e-mail address is:

Tell him Frank from Oklahoma sent you ;-)
