The end of campagnolo derailleur cables are smaller than the ends on shimano derailleur cable (not interchangeable).

You can grind the end of the Shimano cables to work... I personally just use either OEM Campy or PBK (I just bought a few of their Campy compatible sets...they seem just fine.)

thanks.
my chorus kit came with campy cables so i didn't even notice.
so shimano and campy use different shift cables? that seems pretty pointless.
is that all?

Rear hubs.
Shifter innards.
People. Shimano folk can't ride Campy, and verse vice-a.
