It was 77 deg today in Boulder! Climbed Flagstaff at noon to celebrate today's good fortune. Only downside is the lack of snow in the mountains.

Here's a fuzzy cell phone pic from the overlook at the top.

The days have been beautiful here in North Florida, temps from 55* to 65*, sunny, bright, blue skies, and windy. Tonight, the outside pipes are wrapped, water is dripping, sheets are covering sensitive plants (a few are still blooming), and it's supposed to hit a low of 25* during the night.
Huh?

Flagstaff is one of my favorite rides when I don't have much time and want a good work out. Just turn right and start climbing....

Sigh....it was 0 degrees today in Eagle River AK and I haven't ridden a bicycle outside since mid September. I love to ride, but am not hard-core enough to ride in this kind of cold on icy streets. Especially with how unbelievably bad Alaska drivers are on icy streets....they think they know what they are doing just because they have a 4wd monster truck and don't slow down until they are actually upside down in the ditch (an almost daily sight on my commute).

All-in-all we've continued to be blessed with agreeable weather.
Let's hope for a somewhat mild one like last year to allow all-season riding!

I am sure we past each other... Yesterday at noon, I did flagstaff and then went on to Gross lake. Its been a great fall for cycling in CO this year..

I rode my regular Deer Creek Canyon route on Monday and Tuesday. It's supposed to be a little cooler today, but I plan to get out before noon.

It will turn cold tonight, ending the warm stretch, but get warmer by Sunday.

The weather was really decent once again, with a high of about 65 in Highlands Ranch. I rode my regular route, but cut the mileage from the usual 50 to 43. I had someone following me the entire time I was climbing for about 7 miles. He seemed to be making a special effort not to catch up with me. I slowed down for a couple of miles and he got real close, but stayed back. I got to my short route turn around point and when he went buy, I believe he was riding a white Serotta with blue lettering. Any of you guys?
