Can someone steer me in the right direction re purchasing or tell me what they are doing in regards to installing a computer wheel magnet on these windmill like spokes. Thank you.

Are they like the spokes on Mavic Ksyriums? If so, Mavic makes a special magnet for the K's that might work on your F's.

The wheels normally come with a special magnet, but you can use small generic magnets available at Radio Shack and Home Depot.

I've used contact glues like Goop to glue a magnet to these wide spokes and even fastened them with electrical tape, cut down to a narrow width.

The Mavic magnet may not get close enough to some computer pickups, so I've glued on a second magnet or just a small hex nut to extend the magnet field closer to the pickup.
