I am thinking of purchasing one of these integrated handlebar/stem arrangements. Any reports of failures out there that should concern me?

Cinelli RAM has a good reputation from everything I've seen.
The flats along the upper portion of the bar look especially cool.

Wow I need to watch my spelling. Yes, I am interested in the integrated bar/stem arrangement where you eliminate the torque issue using a carbon bar and metal stem.

Yes, the flat bar profile is also of interest to me as I find that with my arthritic wrist, it is a much more comfortable ride to place palms down on the flat bars rather than on round.

If you like Cinelli as a manufacturer and simultaneously prefer a flat profile, there is always the funky Cinelli Integralter developed in consultation with Mario "Super Mario" Cipollini a few years ago.
They aren't carbon fiber, yet they do possess the flatter profile.

I already own a couple of Cinelli Integralter handlebars. They are great on my hands but they are very heavy. One nice thing about the integralter is that they came with several WWII type pin ups that fit on top of the stem and really look nice and provides a nice ride incentive. You can see one on my Sachs bike on this link.

I've never used them..and they look interesting to me.

I guess the Bike Snob NYC doesn't like them though....
