Hi. First post on the forum. I am the new, proud owner of this classic serotta. http://forums.thepaceline.net/showthread.php?t=51497

I have wanted a steel frame since I sold my viner 20 years ago and this one is it. Looking forward to hanging out here.

Congratulations and ride it well.

Welcome to the forum. It's frequently entertaining and always informative.

It's also helpful to understand '80's pop culture references... :D

Good. Now get a proper D/A seatpost and a longer stem and ride the $hit out of that thing.

Agree on the seatpost. At to a longer stem, what do you recommend? Also it is running 20 mm tires. Am I correct is thinking that these rims will work with 23's?

Nice ride!

Put a 130 on there with a set of 25's and you'll be right as rain. ;)

The seatpost probably holds the saddle just fine and I can't say how a bike fits by looking at it leaning against a tree. Funny how nobody noticed it's got no pedals...

on my Colarado 23's are a tight fit and I wonder if 25's will work, probably will but may likley need to be deflated first, my chainstays are short and narrow and 23's just fit without deflating, I think that the fashion of clinchers back then were narrower 19-21 then todays 23-25
