Has anyone tied these? A lot cheaper than a Brooks Swallow:

I am reaching into the dark recesses of my brain and seem to remember something BAD about this saddle...whether it was quality control, limited distribution or???

Senior moment! Happens...

Put one on my Ebisu. Ride report: pretty darn comfortable out of the box, but the tension of the leather ain't that of a Brooks. I fear this is a shortlived relationship, I continue to apply more tension after each ride to remove the hammock-like sag that develops. $75 was certainly a lot cheaper than the Brooks Swift, but that might explain the less than perfect performance. I'm hoping the stretching will eventually stop.

seems to stretch alot and it very easily (like on the first ride) got scuffed up and looking ugly. that may not be a big deal. It sits on a shelf now. probably wont use it again - I'll just keep buying swallows. the steal railed ones aren't that bad, price wise.
I would stay away from it, though I love most things from VO.

Maybe he thinks this model is OK. If you need a saddle for occasional use maybe it would do?
