Hi,

I've decided (after much gnashing of teeth) to put my Nagasawa track bike up for sale.

I purchased the frame and fork used directly from Japan earlier this year and then built it up with the full intention of riding it at the local velodrome.

The Nagasawa frame came with the Hatta Swan NJS bb and NJS headset which I've used and the rest of the parts are new and never ridden.

These include:

Campy Record 32 hole track hubs
NOS Araya ADX-4 rims
Conti (made in Germany) Sprinter tubular tires
Nitto bar and
Nitto Pearl stem (11cm)
Nitto seatpost
Selle Italia Flite Gel saddle
Sugino 75 (165mm) alloy crankset

I'm selling without the Look Keo pedals - so those are not included.

Basic measurements are:

50cm (c-c) seat tube
53cm (c-c) top tube
39.5cm chainstay
96.5cm (approx) wheelbase

This is a real track bike and has no provisions for brakes.

The wheels were built by Dean at Bike Central in Portland Oregon. He's "the man" when it comes to track stuff in the area.

If you don't like the saddle I have others or I can sell without the saddle as well.

Overall the frame and fork are in very nice shape. There are a few paint chips here and there, but no dents or creases in the tubes. I spent several months trying to find the "right" Nagasawa frame and this one was the best available when I picked it up.

I have not ridden this bike, but it's a Nagasawa so there's not much else to say.

I wish I could find some clinchers with a similar profile for my Samson.

Beautiful Nagasawa.

That is beautiful. Unfortunately the closest velodrome is Marymoore in Seattle, which is about 500 miles away from where I live.

I hope someone that can use this jumps on it.

I am sure it is much too small for me, but just to be sure, how tall are you and what is the center of BB to top of saddle measurement (as is is in the pictures)....?

I am right at 5' 8" and I have a shortish inseam. I normally ride a 50/51 road bike with about a 70mm bb drop.

The thing to remember is that track bikes if measured from c-c will be normally higher since their bb's are higher (less drop).

Anyway, I can check when I get home but I believe the bb to top of saddle measurement is right at 70cm. There's plenty of seat post left. I'll check the reach (tip of saddle to bar center) once I get home as well.

I used to drive over from Moscow Idaho to go ride at Marymoor. It was a long trip but I got to ride with Mark Gorski after the '84 Olympics.

So that was nice.

If only I had the room in my basement and in my checking account.

I would grab this one in a hearbeat.

As a followup I checked the measurement of from the center of the bb to top of saddle distance at 70cm as its setup in the pictures.

Additionally I measured the tip of saddle to the center of the handlebars to be right at 51cm - the stem is currently an 11cm Nitto.

The standover height (floor to top of top tube) is right at 79 cm.
