I am considering selling my road bike as it does not get used. I mainly ride trails and need some assistance with pricing:

IF Crown ???el Steel

I purchased the frame in he classifieds here and had been saving the parts for a high quality Frame.

The Dura Ace 10sp has 500 give or take a few and the king/DT Swiss wheels only have 2 rides on them

cables,bar,tape new

I have removed the big stickers from the wheels, here are a few pics

I appreciate any advice as I really do not have much expierience with Road Parts.

Thank you
Jason

Oh oh. Bike porn.

I'd say a firstborn child and change... ;)

That is a pretty bike.

What size is it? Does it have custom geometry? Anything thats not normal that would make people think twice about buying it?

Since fit is so important when it comes to riding a bike, these components should-will play a big part in pricing.

Good luck!

. . . if it's a "standard" size and geometry you're going to have a much larger potential market.

It's definitely a pretty bike!

"I have removed the big stickers from the wheels"

Put the stickers back on the wheels. it will increase thier value. How old is it?

funniest thing about this is that the forum software thinks that j-e-w needs to be censored. :crap:

Thanks for the input, I will call IF to get the exact numbers but it feels like a stock 56 it really is very clean and the only blemish is on the HT from some cable Rub. Once I have it in the classifieds what number would you put on it based on components as long as it is stock geo ?

Thanks again

filet braised if steel frame bike 56cm. well i would guess $1200-$1500, if you are lucky. hey i am just being realistic. carbon fiber is where it is in today's market. even titanium is a hard sell.

filet braised if steel frame bike 56cm.Just a minor correction, IF's are welded and not fillet brazed.

You might want to put picture in classiified List the following:

- Specs for frame (geometry and tube lengths)
- Components it has and ones it does not
- Price (with or without shipping) Most of the selling prices are without shipping
- Location where bike is (city/state)

Good luck selling. PETE
