Ok, you didn't hear this from me....AR has the bugs worked out....will have color options....and the first rolls are coming down the pipe...and it's still the best freaking bar wrap on the market!!!!

Yes, it's been in the works for a while. AR (fellow forumite Ahneida Ride for those who don't know) had a couple of set backs and it's taken a while to get new vendors lined up who can do the work that's needed to get the quality of leather and prep work in place. AR's attitude is that if it isn't the best quality, there's no point in putting anything out for public use.
A number of samples have gone out over the last year or two, some excellent, some not so excellent. But it looks like he has the right combo now. Keep your eyes open. :)

Yeah right, and the "check is in the mail". We've been getting teasers for what, 2 years now? I'll believe it when I see it, and it would be nice if that's before '09. This is like getting flirted with by the best looking babe in HS.

I don't blame ya one bit. not one bit.
I've been jumping Thur hoops and am quite frustrated too.
Please understand that I am the low man on the Totem Pole,
and have little leverage. I am not purchasing or processing 100's
of hides.


The leather industry in the USA is not what it was. Most of it has gone
overseas. Locating the right leather and the people with the correct
talent and machines is conceptually trivial, but in practice is not.

I could source it out to China/Taiwan/etc. but I'd rather have it
make here in the good old USA.

The most recent Prototype, incorporates all previous knowledge and
suggestions. It's in a navy blue. If this proves viable. I can go live.
