The Colnago ad in the Nov. 15th Velo News for the E1 model makes what I feel is a dubious claim. The copy says Colnago has over 20 years of carbon experience. I don't remember anything carbon in the Colnago line back in 1985. Does anyone else?

People are carbon based life forms. Many people at Colnago are over twenty years old.

I remember the Carbitubo in the early to mid-nineties. They must have been doing R&D well before production began.

. . . the ad sepcifically claiming twenty years of experience with carbon BIKES. Perhaps they made some other products . . . 50 million lira carbon toilet seat covers for the Italian Air Force? . . .

that's in metric.

OK OK small amount of carbon but they didn't mention how much carbon in the advert!
